Arden Oculus represents continuity and connection and was inspired by bronze age and neolithic symbolic language and art from contemporary genres. It is carved as two eddies or vortexes based upon a logarithmic Fibonacci spiral, which connect seamlessly in a layer of pink and smoky quartz inclusions between two stratum of crystalline white, grey and green marble. The Arden Oculus is oriented to the cardinal directions and casts shadows and projected lights that correspond to the diurnal cycle and the solar year.
